Connect Claude to Practice Fusion and summarize patient records

Practice Fusion and Claude can be connected through Konnectify to automate analysis of electronic health records retrieved from Practice Fusion's FHIR API. When a workflow searches for a Patient, Observation, Medication Request, Condition, Diagnostic Report, Encounter, Care Plan, Allergy Intolerance, or other supported resource, Konnectify sends the returned data to Claude using the Create Message action. Claude can then generate structured summaries, extract key findings, or produce natural-language explanations from the retrieved healthcare information.

Healthcare providers can automatically summarize patient histories after retrieving Patient resources, generate readable overviews of Observation or Diagnostic Report results for internal documentation, or analyze Medication Requests, Care Plans, Procedures, and Conditions to prepare concise clinical summaries. Administrative teams can also retrieve Organization, Practitioner, or Encounter information and use Claude to generate reports or standardized documentation without manually reviewing each FHIR resource.

Integrating Practice Fusion with Claude removes the repetitive work of reading large FHIR responses and manually writing summaries.
