About this integration
Connect GitHub with Claude using Konnectify to automatically analyze repository activity with AI. When GitHub detects a new commit, pull request, issue, release, repository event, notification, or other supported trigger, Konnectify sends the relevant repository data to Claude's Create Message action. Claude can then generate summaries, explanations, technical documentation, or other AI-generated outputs based on the GitHub event.
Engineering teams can automatically summarize new commits for release notes, while code reviewers can generate concise overviews of newly created or updated pull requests before beginning reviews. Development managers can use Claude to explain newly created issues, summarize repository activity, or generate readable reports whenever new releases, milestones, or repository events are detected.
Without automation, developers and engineering managers spend time reviewing commits, pull requests, issues, and repository events before communicating updates. Connecting GitHub with Claude removes repetitive documentation and reporting work for software teams, engineering leaders, DevOps teams, and technical project managers while improving consistency, reducing manual effort, and delivering AI-generated development insights much faster.

How It Works
Choose a GitHub trigger such as New or Updated Commit, New Pull Request, New Issue, or another supported repository event. Your workflow starts automatically whenever the selected GitHub event occurs.
Konnectify gathers the relevant GitHub information, including commit details, issue content, pull request data, release information, or repository metadata. You control which fields are passed into Claude.
Send the GitHub event data to Claude using the Create Message action. Claude generates summaries, technical explanations, release notes, documentation, or custom AI responses based on the repository activity.
Review Claude's response and use it in your engineering workflow. You can share the generated summaries, documentation, or analysis with your team or pass them into downstream automations.
